• 2:24 p.m. Wednesday - April M. Hurd, 40, of 820 N. Roosevelt St., Silver Lake, arrested for felony failure to appear. No bond set.

• 3:08 p.m. Wednesday - Justin W. Siede, 28, of 9752 S. Pheasant Place, Claypool, arrested for felony and misdemeanor failure to appear charges. No bond set.

• 8:38 p.m. Wednesday - Robert B. Gardiner, 37, of 3294 N. CR 150E, Warsaw, arrested on two civil warrants. Bond: $1,000.

• 9:20 p.m. Wednesday - Jason A. Waikel, 40, of 4492 E. CR 600N, Pierceton, arrested on a foreign warrant and resisting law enforcement. Bond: $750.

• 1:01 a.m. Thursday - Eric L. Baker, 39, of 303 N. Jefferson St., Silver Lake, arrested on a civil warrant. Bond: $500.

• 9:02 a.m. Wednesday - North CR 850E, 2,000 feet south of East CR 150N, Pierceton. SUV left roadway. Driver: Remington J. Hurd, 19, EMS R 4 Lane, Pierceton. Injuries: Hurd was flown by helicopter to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, for a head injury. Damage: $50,000-$100,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 11:43 p.m. Wednesday - South Ind. 13, 100 feet south of East Shoop Road, Pierceton. Car hit deer. Driver: Gregory M. Dvorak, 44, EMS T13 Lane, Leesburg. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. KCSO.



Incidents

• 11:08 a.m. Wednesday - An employee of Oswego Laundromat, in the 5800 block of North Second Street, Warsaw, reported the theft of money from a vending machine. KCSO.

• 2:38 p.m. Wednesday - A woman reported damage to her vehicle in the 1200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 2:54 p.m. Wednesday - A woman reported damage to her fence in the 4400 block of East CR 100S, Pierceton. Damage: $200. KCSO.

• 3:05 p.m. Wednesday - A woman reported a juvenile stole two cellphones in the 300 block of North Cook Street, Warsaw. Value: $700. WPD.

• 8:46 p.m. Wednesday - An animal bite was reported in the 1800 block of Michaels Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 6:58 a.m. Thursday - A woman called police in the 200 block of Turkey Creek Drive, Milford, to report trouble with a school bus driver. KCSO.
