Syracuse Church To Hold

Annual Holiday Auction

SYRACUSE – All Saint’s Episcopal Church, 7812 Vawter Park Drive, Syracuse, will hold its annual holiday auction Oct. 26. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the auction starts at 6 p.m. Gifts, gift certificates and baked goods will be auctioned off.



Etna Green Church To

Hold Haystack Supper

ETNA GREEN – Mount Tabor Church, 8424 N. CR 800W, Etna Green, will hold a haystack dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. There will also be a bake sale.



Warsaw Church To Hold Homecoming Day

Dutchtown Brethren Church, 4057 E. CR 300N, Warsaw, will hold Homecoming Day on Oct. 13. The worship service begins at 10 a.m. Carry-in dinner will be at 11:45 a.m.  Carlla Kiser will provide special music and Joe Garrett, son of former Dutchtown pastor Buck Garrett, will bring the message.  

Warsaw Church To Hold Pet Blessing

St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 424 W. Market St., Warsaw will hold one worship service on Sunday.  Starting at 10 a.m., the service will include a special pet blessing ceremony.  The worship service will take place on the lawn in the back of the church. Please note that all animals will need to be caged or on a leash for the entire service. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear shoes that will allow for ease walking on uneven grassy areas. Chairs will be provided. All are welcome to attend.  

The church will be collecting the following items for the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County:  paper towels, toilet paper, bleach, liquid laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets, towels, cotton blankets, collars of all sizes, leashes, pet treats and washable pet toys (especially cat toys).  AWL will also bring some of their beloved pets to bless. Winona Lake Church To Hold

Tribulation and Triumph Series

WINONA LAKE – Winona Lake Free Methodist Church, 902 College Ave., Winona Lake, will hold a tribulation and triumph series Oct. 12 and 13 titled “The Olivet Discourse” with Richard R. Schmidt. At 6 p.m. Oct 12, “Jesus’ Second Temple Prophecy and Fulfillment” will be presented. At 9:15 a.m. Oct. 13 during Sunday school, “Worldwide Commencement of Chaotic Tribulation” will be presented. During 10:30 a.m. Sunday service Oct. 13, “Worldwide Satanic Defilement” will be presented.

Alzheimer’s Care Giver Support Group

Walnut Creek Church, 2033 S. CR 150W, Warsaw, will hold its monthly Alzheimer’s Care Giver Support Group. The group meets on the second Thursday of the month at 10 a.m.  The next meeting is Oct. 10 at 10 a.m.  Caregivers of a loved one who has dementia are welcome to come for encouragement and sharing. The Rev.
