LaunchPad Celebrates First Year

LaunchPad has identified strategies to meet their five goals: 1) Improve family and community education; 2) increase accessibility to childcare by building capacity; 3) increase affordability for families; 4) grow early learning workforce and improve retention; and 5) advocate for policy change.
Businesses and organizations that have financially supported the first year of operations were recognized. These include Bowen Center, Dekko Foundation, DePuy Synthes, Chamber of Commerce, Kosciusko Community Foundation, Lake City Bank, Maple Leaf Farms, Mutual Bank, Parkview Health, YMCA, PNC Bank, Silveus Insurance Group, United Way and Zimmer Biomet.
Local leaders who have committed their time and talent to LaunchPad in the first year were also recognized. LaunchPad seeks to strengthen the climate of early learning in Kosciusko County by focusing on the most recent research for children, birth to age 5, and meeting the needs of the county’s youngest citizens.
