Karen S. Hill, age 58, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 1 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2019, in her residence. She was born Dec. 27, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Melvin A. and Lois E. Harman Hill.

Karen was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School, class of 1978. She served as a housekeeper for Bowen Center of Warsaw, with 18 years of service from 1999 to 2018 when she retired.

Karen was an avid fan of cruises. She visited Antigua, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, both the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Turks and Cocos, the Cayman Islands, Cozumel and the Dominican Republic on several cruise ships. Also, Karen loved and cherished her dogs, many of whom were rescues or adoptions, including Sam, Rudy, Maggie, Sketcher and Zoey.

She is survived by her sister, Nanette Hill of Warsaw, and numerous cousins.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 31. Karen’s funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m., with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Pastor Barbara Hidelbaugh will officiate.
