Triton Boys Golf Bests Bremen, Tippecanoe Valley

PLYMOUTH – Triton won a three-way non-conference golf meet Thursday with a score of 168 to Bremen’s 197 and Tippecanoe Valley’s 212.

Cole McKinney had a 40 for Triton, with Chase Butler posting a 41, Carter Kunz at 43, John Gardner at 44 and Beau Hepler at 46.

Cade Brouyette had a 45 for Valley, with Mason Purvis at 53, Bryce Madeford at 54, Johnny Gonsalez at 60 and Billy Gilman at 63.

Triton will host its invitational tournament on Saturday.



Manchester Falls to Peru

PERU – Manchester traveled to Rock Hollow to play their final regular match of the season against Peru Thursday evening falling 158-168.

Leading Manchester was Harley Kruschwitz with a 37, followed by Owen Kruschwitz with a 38.  The remaining top five scores for Manchester were all very consistent, with Klayton Hendrix shooting 46, Mathias McLaughlin shooting 47 and Konrad Borgmann shooting a 48.  

Kash Bellar of Peru was medalist on the evening with an even par 36.

Manchester plays its last regular invitational of the year on Saturday at the Wabash Invite and Honeywell Golf Course starting at 8:30 a.m.



Warrior Golf Trims Eagles

SYRACUSE – Wawasee won a non-conference boys golf match Thursday, 166-171 over visiting Columbia City at South Shore Golf Club.

Scores for Wawasee were medalist Dillon Drake, 38; Zach Leedy, 39;  Jared Krugman, 44; and Evan Dippon and Brandon Tayagua each at 45.

The Warriors will play in the Triton Invitational on Saturday.
