WINONA LAKE – Lakeland Christian Academy announced its valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2019.

Carlene Wise, valedictorian, is the daughter of Steve and Charlotte Wise.  

She plans to attend Purdue University where she will major in biology with a minor in wildlife.  She plans to go on to veterinary school to become a zoological veterinarian.

Wise’s high school activities include varsity volleyball, soccer and track, president of National Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  She attends Warsaw Community Church and Community Grace Brethren youth group.

 Anna Reimink, salutatorian, is the daughter of Matthew and Lisa Reimink.  

She will be attending Calvin College on a soccer scholarship to major in elementary education and French.  She will also minor in TESOL.  After graduation, she plans to work as a teacher/missionary overseas.

Reimink’s high school activities include varsity soccer and basketball (captain of both teams), vice president of her senior class, member of Senate Advisory Committee, Leader of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a member of National Honor Society.  She attends Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church and Community Grace Brethren youth group.  Reimink also works in the church nursery.
