Warsaw Athletic Director Dave Anson will resign from his position by the end of June.

The Warsaw Community Schools Board of Directors has his resignation on the meeting agenda for Monday night.

Anson said he and his wife, Rosalyn, will be moving near the Space Coast of Florida to be closer to her mother.

“We’ve been tinkering with this thought, this prospect, for the last several years now, and now the time is right,” he said.

Anson said his position has been posted, and he wasn’t sure if the school board would hire from within or bring someone in from out of town.
