AKRON – John R. Ripley, 79, of Wabash, formerly of Mustang, Okla., and Indianapolis died at 8:52 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre of Wabash.

He was born May 17, 1939, in Davenport, Iowa, to William E. and Dorothy A. Hines Ripley. He was married on April 27, 1963, in Indianapolis, to Mary Nadine Mattingly. She survives.

Following John’s wishes, no services are planned.
