NORTH MANCHESTER – North Manchester United Methodist Church is having a baked steak dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 7-12. Carry-out will be available.
The church is at 306 E. Second St., North Manchester, and is handicapped-accessible.
Burket UMC Selling Port-A-Pit Chicken
BURKET – Burket United Methodist Church will sell Nelson’s Port-A-Pit chicken, pork chops and Pit-Tatoes at the Big Egg in Mentone from 3 to 7 p.m. May 17.
A bake sale is also planned.
Chicken is $6 for presale tickets and $7 the day of the sale. Proceeds will go toward missions.

Warsaw Family Worship Center is having a Nelson’s Port-A-Pit chicken and Pit-Tatoes fundraiser Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or sold out.
The sale will be at Owen’s supermarket on Center Street in Warsaw.
Claypool UMC Honoring Mothers Sunday
CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church plans to honor mothers on Sunday.
The sermon in the 10:20 a.m. worship service is titled “Ecumenical Vacation.”
Sunday school is at 9 a.m.
Everyone is welcome.
Lifetouch Un-Garage Sale Planned Saturday
Lifetouch Ministries & Counseling Center is having its second annual un-garage sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Organizers say the “sale” is so named because it isn’t in a garage and everything is free. The event is held in an effort to give back to the community.
Donations of women and children’s clothing, shoes and toys will be accepted from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Lifetouch Ministries, 2426 E. Pierceton Road, Winona Lake.
The church is at 210 S. High St., Warsaw.

Jonah Club Fish Fry Planned May 17
NORTH MANCHESTER – The North Manchester Congregational Church will host its annual Jonah Club Fish Fry on May 17.
Indoor serving lines for all-you-can-eat dining will be open from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Carry out lines will be open from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the west parking lot of the church.
The meal will include fish, slaw, applesauce, bread and drink. Tickets are $9 in advance for adults ($9.50 at the door), $5 for children ages 6-10, and free for children 5 and younger.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the various ministries of the church.

The church is on the corner of Fourth and Walnut streets in North Manchester.
St. Anne’s Annual Tent Sale June 5-7
St. Anne’s is gearing up for another tent sale and the public is invited to participate.
The sale will be June 5-7 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closes early June 7) in the Family Arts Building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.
St. Anne’s asks the public to “clean out your house and garage” for items they can donate to the sale. Free pickup service is available; call Frank Sapper at 574-527-0610 or Doug Blatz at 260-571-6637.
All proceeds from the sale will be used to fund St. Anne’s outreach projects.

SILVER LAKE – Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church will have a breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday.
Donations will be accepted.

Joyaires Will Give Concert On Mother’s Day
The Joyaires will be singing and sharing their testimony at the First Free Will Baptist Church of Kosciusko County on Mother’s Day.
The service Sunday begins at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

Pierceton United Methodist Church will offer a donation-only breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. May 18.
The breakfast will feature biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage links, fruit and toast.
Bikers and visitors to the Vintage Motorcycle Show in Pierceton, along with community members, are welcome to the breakfast.
The church is two blocks north of Brower Park on Ind. 13, Pierceton.
Feed The Hungry, Homeless Event May 18
Evangelist Justine Slone Megething is reaching out to the community to feed the hungry and the homeless.
A service is planned for 3 p.m. May 18 at Center Lake by McDonald’s on Ind. 15. Food and fellowship will follow the service, and food boxes will be given out.
Those who are able may bring donations of food for others.
Rummage Sale In Burket May 10-11
BURKET – Burket United Methodist Church will have a rummage sale Friday and Saturday.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. From 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, people may fill a bag for $1.
All proceeds go to missions.
