Habitat For Humanity Resale Outlet Ribbon-Cutting
May 4, 2019 at 12:43 a.m.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Habitat For Humanity Resale Outlet and corporate offices was held Friday afternoon, with its doors opening today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The retail outlet at 3970 Corridor Drive, Warsaw, will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store will offer a diverse inventory of both new and used items at affordable prices. It will also provide a place for county residents to donate used furniture, building supplies and appliances.
Mickey Kaufman, Habitat For Humanity of Kosciusko County executive director, said the store is open to everyone and profits go back to Habitat For Humanity to build more homes in the community. Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Rob Parker said contractors with extra material from builds now have a place to donate the material. Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County is a local nonprofit Christian ministry that works through partnerships with the community to provide safe and affordable housing for hard-working, low-income families in the county.
