Baked Steak Dinner May 10 In North Manchester

NORTH MANCHESTER – North Manchester United Methodist Church is having a baked steak dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. May 10.

Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 7-12. Carry-out will be available.

The church is at 306 E. Second St., North Manchester, and is handicapped-accessible.



Duke DuVall At Missionary Church Sunday

Duke DuVall, author of “How to Conquer Giants,” will be at Warsaw Missionary Church at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

DuVall is a management consultant, minister and the voice of the Light of the World’s “Moment of Inspiration.” This daily free Bible message is available 24 hours a day at 800-939-5689.

Sunday’s service will feature an old-fashioned hymn sing.

A freewill offering will be collected to support the toll-free Bible message ministry.

The church is at 1849 E. Springhill Road, Warsaw.

CLAYPOOL – A baked steak dinner is planned from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Claypool United Methodist Church.

Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for youth ages 7 to 12 and free for those 6 and  younger. Carry-out will be available.

Anyone who brings a canned food item will receive 50 cents off the cost of a meal.

All proceeds will go to the church and its mission projects.

The church is at 302 E. Section St., Claypool.



Nelson’s Golden Glo Fundraiser Saturday

Trinity United Methodist Church will have a Nelson’s Golden Glo fundraiser Saturday from 10 a.m. until sold out.

Cost is $7 for half a chicken or bites, and $4 for Pit-Tatoes.

The fundraiser will be in the parking lot of JB’s Furniture in Warsaw.



Gospel Concert Sunday At Riverview

TIPPECANOE – The Joneses from Wheelersburg, Ohio, will give a gospel concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Community Church.

The Joneses are a family group with roots in the Gaither Homecoming events. They have been part of the National Quartet Convention for several years. They have been featured  on Daystar Television’s “Gospel Music Showcase” and on the “The Gospel Greats,” and will be performing at Dollywood.

Everyone is welcome to the concert. There is no ticket charge, but a love offering will be collected for the Joneses.

The church is at 3780 Ind. 110, Tippecanoe.



All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Planned Saturday

God's Highway To Heaven will have an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday.

  The menu will include sausage gravy, bologna gravy, biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, apples and drinks.

Cost is $6 for adults age 10 and older, $3 for children ages 3 to 9 and free for those 2 and younger.

The church is at 555 Webber Street, Warsaw,



Burket UMC Rummage Sale May 10-11

BURKET – Burket United Methodist Church will have a rummage sale May 10-11.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 10 and 8 a.m. to noon May 11. From 11 a.m. to noon May 11, people may fill a bag for $1.

All proceeds go to missions.

The church is at 102 E. Market St., Burket.



Nazarene Rummage Sale Today-Saturday

Warsaw Church of the Nazarene will have its annual rummage sale this week.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The church is at 1654 Fisher Ave., Warsaw.



Sidney Grace Brethren Reunion May 11

SIDNEY – All former pastors and attendees of the Sidney Grace Brethren Church are invited to an old-fashioned carry-in meal at 5 p.m. May 11.

The gathering will be in the fellowship hall of the church.
