PIERCETON – Brenda J. Alexander, 78, of Pierceton,  passed away at 10:10 p.m. Saturday March 23, 2019, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born on Aug. 24, 1940, to Francis Marion and Ethel May Lilly in Paintsville, Ky.

She retired from Uniroyal of Warsaw and operated Brenda’s Day Care for several years. She loved her daycare kids.

Brenda is survived by two sons, William Alexander, Homosassa, Fla., and Delbert Sams, Pierceton; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Wilma) Lilly, Olive Hill, Ky., and Marion (Sandy) Lilly, North Webster; two sisters, Faye Lilly, Pierceton, and Debbie Lilly, Warsaw; a sister-in-law, Barbara Lilly, Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents and two brothers, Willis and David Lilly.

There will be a graveside service and burial at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, at a later date. The funeral home will post it when the information becomes available on the website.

The Alexander family has entrusted McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, for the arrangements.
