Ivy Tech Fort Wayne And Warsaw To Host Enrollment Days For Summer, Fall
At Ivy Tech Community College’s Express Enrollment Day, prospective students can complete all the steps they need to start classes.
Enrollment experts will be on-hand to answer questions and help attendees with enrollment steps including assessment, financial aid, advising and more.
Registration for summer and fall classes is open. Students should bring their most recent tax returns for financial aid, and their previous high school or college transcripts for assessment.
Prospective students can visit IvyTech.edu/EEDay to learn more. Most summer classes begin June 10, and fall classes begin Aug. 26.
Enrollment days are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Ivy Tech Fort Wayne’s north campus, Student Life Center, 3701 Dean Drive Fort Wayne; and Ivy Tech Warsaw site, 2545 Silveus Crossing, Warsaw, IN 46582.
Parkview Warsaw Center For Healthy Living Hosts Check-Up Day Tuesday
The Parkview Warsaw Center for Healthy Living is offering a check-up day from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Patients are able to take advantage of various screenings and discounted lab work including lipid profiles, hemoglobin, A1C, TSH and PSA tests. No appointment is necessary and patients are seen on a walk-in basis.
In preparation for lab testing, patients are asked to fast 10 to 12 hours prior but may have sips of water and take medication as prescribed. Spanish translation services will be available at the event.
The Parkview Warsaw Center for Healthy Living is inside the Parkview Warsaw YMCA at 1350 Mariners Drive, Warsaw.
AKRON – The Jellybean Jog 5K, sponsored by the Akron Las Donas Club, will start at 9 a.m. at the Akron Elementary School.
Register online at www.GetMeRegistered.com/AkronJellybeanJog before April 3 or paper registrations available at the Akron Town Office to guarantee a T-shirt for $20. Participants can also register the morning of the event starting between 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. for $25 per person at the Akron Elementary School.
Overall winners and age group winners for runners and top three walkers will be announced immediately following the race. This is a chip-timed event on an open course, and walkers are welcome.
Proceeds benefit Tippecanoe Valley High School’s track and field team.
