On Dec. 20, Warsaw Police officer Jacob Metzger spoke with a woman in reference to a theft. She said that between Oct. 3-12, multiple charges were made on her credit card without her permission. The total of the fraudulent charges was $793.75. Through the investigation, WPD officer Christopher Brown identified Davis as the person using the woman’s credit card.

Metzger traveled to Big R, where the woman’s card was used Oct. 5 for a fraudulent charge of $252.35. He was provided the receipt from the charge on the woman’s credit card. Upon reviewing the receipt, Metzger saw that the woman’s signature was forged.

Surveillance video of the transaction showed Davis forging the woman’s signature and using her credit card.
