A surprise party was held Saturday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of John and Wendy Kimpel of Warsaw.

John Kimpel and the former Wendy Ellen Warner were married March 8, 1969, at First Baptist Church of Warsaw by the Rev. Darrell Byers.

He is owner of John Kimpel and Associates Land Surveyors. She works at Campbell & Fetter Bank.

The Kimpels have three children: Connie (Kevin) McBride of Yoder, Joe (Katie) Kimpel of Louisiana and Kelley (Michael) McGuire of Warsaw. They have three grandchildren.

Cards may be sent to the Kimpels at 295 Gilliam Drive South, Warsaw, IN 46580.
