Free Community Dinner Planned March 21

PIERCETON – A free community dinner is planned from 5 to 7 p.m. March 21at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church hall.  

The focus of this meal, planned by churches in the community, is to bring people together to eat, share stories and meet their neighbors.  The menu this month is sloppy joes, baked beans, chips, drink and dessert.  

Everyone is welcome.



Whole Hog Sausage, Pancake Meal March 16

PIERCETON – Pierceton United Methodist Church will have its annual whole hog sausage and pancake dinner on March 16.

The all-you-can-eat dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. the fellowship room of the church  

Cost to attend is a free-will donation.  All proceeds from the dinner go to the mission of the church.  

Those who ordered sausage may pick it up from noon to 5 p.m. March 15 at the church.  

The church is handicapped-accessible, with parking in the back of the church.  



All-You-Can-Eat Country Breakfast Saturday

Warsaw Family Worship Center is having an all-you-can-eat country breakfast from 7 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.  

The breakfast will feature biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, fried apples, pancakes, orange juice, milk and coffee. Carry-outs will be available.

Chili Supper Saturday Will Aid Preschool

LEESBURG – Leesburg-Oswego Preschool is having a chili supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Leesburg Lions building.

Cost is $6 for adults at the door, $5 prepaid; $3 for children ages 3-10; and free for children 2 and younger. To pre-pay for tickets call 574-453-4703 or email [email protected].

Everyone is welcome.

Proceeds from the chili supper will go supplies, new educational toys and operating expenses at the preschool.



Gold City Quartet At Riverview Sunday

TIPPECANOE – A gospel concert with Gold City Quartet of Gadsden, Ala., is planned for 6 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Community Church.

Gold City Quartet has been performing since 1980. This down-to-earth group is grounded in southern roots, and committed to their mission of delivering four-part harmonies that are entertaining, inspiring and uplifting.

Everyone is welcome to the concert. There is no charge for admission, but a love offering will be collected.

The church is at 3780 Ind. 110, Tippecanoe.



Biblical Counseling Event March 16-17

Community Bible Church in Warsaw is planning “Reaching the Heart,” a biblical counseling conference, March 16-17.

The conference will be led by Dr. Wayne Vanderwier, founder of Overseas Instruction in Counseling in 2006. OIC trains Christian leaders to train others across the world in biblical counseling.

Sessions will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 16 and 9 a.m. to noon  and 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 17.

Rummage, Bake Sale Planned March 15-16

Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church will have its spring rummage and bake sale March 15-16.

The sale will be in the church gym from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 15 and 8 a.m. to noon March 16.

Proceeds will be divided among mission groups and community outreach.

The church is at 210 S. High St., Warsaw.



Juvenile Probation Workers To Speak

Kara Shively and Dana Bailey from the Kosciusko County Juvenile Probation Department will speak on issues relating to juveniles in Kosciusko County.

The meeting will follow Dinner Church at 6 p.m. today at Trinity United Methodist Church, 832 E. Center St., Warsaw.

Topics will include what life is like after incarceration and other issues. A question-and-answer period will follow.

Everyone is welcome.



Men’s Breakfast Saturday At Otterbein

ATWOOD – A men’s breakfast is planned at 7 a.m. Saturday at Otterbein United Methodist Church.

A freewill donation is asked for the all-you-can-eat event.

The church is at 306 E. Main St., Atwood.



Gospel Hill Youth Plan Breakfast Saturday

SILVER LAKE – An all-you-can-eat breakfast is planned Saturday at Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God.

The youth of the church are conducting the event, which is planned from 7 to 10 a.m.

The menu will include biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs, fried apples and fried potatoes.

Cost is a freewill donation. All proceeds will benefit the youth group.

The church is at 303 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake.
