The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 10:30 a.m. Tuesday – Damian Lee Cassidy, 20, Elkhart, arrested at the Noble County Jail for possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $532.

• 12:50 p.m. Tuesday – Logan Moby Robbins, 22, Elkhart, arrested at the Elkhart County Jail for misdemeanor failure to appear. No bond.

• 1:33 p.m. Tuesday – Michael Alen Perzanowski, 50, of 8469 Lakeview Drive, Syracuse, arrested on a habitual traffic violator charge. Bond: $5,250.

•5:24 p.m. Tuesday – Walter Alan Vitalone Jr., 55, of 221 N. Columbia St., Warsaw, arrested for manufacturing and/or dealing methamphetamine. Bond: $25,250.

• 8:32 p.m. Tuesday – Robert Kenneth Melton, 31, of 46 E. Center St., Silver Lake, charged with exploitation of a dependent or endangered adult. Bond: $10,250.

• 10:06 p.m. Tuesday – Tara Lynn Purvis, 33, of 2798 S. Country Club Road, Warsaw, arrested in the 200 block of West Jefferson Street, Warsaw, for criminal trespassing. No bond listed.

•10:15 p.m. Tuesday – Darren Allen Diaz, 37, of 223 W. Jefferson St., #11, Warsaw, was arrested at his home for felony failure to appear and two counts of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $1,764.92.

• 12:02 a.m. today – Jordan Todd Burgess, 27, of 202 S. Morgan St., Mentone, arrested in the 2400 block of East Center Street, Warsaw, for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, hash oil or hashish, and on a warrant for another agency. Bond: $700.



Personal Injury Accident

• 7:48 a.m. Monday – East Center Street at Argonne Road, Warsaw. Vehicles collided in the intersection. Drivers: Larissa R. Phillips, 32, North Dovewood Trail, Warsaw; Lindsay A. Castro, 35, South CR 325E, Warsaw. Phillips complained of chest pain at the scene but declined medical treatment. Damage: $5,001-$10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated

• 4:07 p.m. Sunday – U.S. 30 on bridge over Ind. 15, Warsaw. Driver lost control of vehicle, struck a guardrail. Driver: Donald Bradley, 19, Rochester. Damage: $5,001-$10,000. WPD.

• 5:05 a.m. Monday – North CR 100E, 200 feet north of East CR 350N, Warsaw. Driver reported sliding off a slick road and striking a tree. Driver: Anna Hernandez, 31, West CR 200N, Warsaw. Damage: $750-$1,000. KCSO.

•7:53 a.m. Monday – Intersection of Center and Lake streets, Warsaw. Vehicles collided in the intersection. Drivers: Andrea K. Friend, 33, East Barrington Place, Warsaw; William E. Smith, 73, West CR 500N, Warsaw. Damage: $5,001-$10,000. WPD.

• 1:42 p.m. Monday – Intersection of CRs 1350N and 900W, Nappanee. Vehicles collided in intersection when one ran a stop sign. Drivers: John S. Preheim, 77, Goshen; Jolene H. Lehman, 42, Nappanee. Damage: $2,501-$5,000. KCSO.

• 3:37 p.m. Monday – Ind. 13 at North Street, North Webster. Vehicles collided in the intersection. Drivers: Angela S. Metcalf, 43, North CR 850E, Leesburg; Claudia N. Stuckman, 17, North CR 900E, North Webster. Damage: $5,001-$10,000. North Webster Police Department investigated.

• 10:37 p.m. Monday – East CR 1150N, 1,000 feet east of Camp Mack Road, Milford. Vehicle hit deer. Driver: Angela K. Wilson, East Nelson Drive, Milford. Damage: $2,501-$5,000. KCSO.

• 8:31 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of South Bronson Street and East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Slick roadway caused vehicles to collide. Drivers: Chelsea B. Smith, 26, Denver, Ind.; Robert L. Andrews, 61, West Jefferson Street, Mentone. Damage: $2,501-$5000. WPD.

• 10:33 a.m. Tuesday – 1300 block of Mariners Drive, Warsaw. Parking lot collision. Drivers: Delores Delion, 59, St. Augustine's Drive, Warsaw; Marissa N. Custer, 31, West Blue Jay Drive, Mentone. Damage: $1,001-$2,500. WPD.

• 12:57 p.m. Tuesday – Eastlake Drive, 25 feet north of Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Rear-end collision. Drivers: Ranea A. Pontius, 31, South CR 1400E, Akron; Robert L. Tobias, 55, EMS B34 Lane, Warsaw. Damage: $1,001-$2,500. WPD.

• 1:36 p.m. Tuesday – Private lot in the 2400 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver pulled away from a drive-through window before the serving drawer had been retracted, hitting the drawer. Driver: Michelle J. Neal, 30, South CR 700E, North Manchester. Damage: $1,001-$2,500. WPD.

• 6:06 p.m. Tuesday – A person reported being battered in the 900 block of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. WPD.  

• 6:20 p.m. Tuesday – A person reported being bitten by a dog in the 900 block of East Main Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 7:07 a.m. Monday – Shoplifting was reported in the 9300 block of South Ind. 15, Silver Lake. KCSO.

• 10:24 a.m. Monday – Domestic battery was reported in the 600 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 10:31 a.m. Monday – Counterfeit money was used at a business in the 100 block of South Higbee Street, Milford. KCSO.

• 9:09 p.m. Monday – A traffic stop in the 400 block of North Park Avenue, Warsaw, resulted in a drug arrest. WPD.

• 11:35 p.m. Tuesday – An unidentified driver struck a parked car in the 1100 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Registration information for the parked car was not available. WPD.

• 3:15 p.m. Tuesday – An invasion of privacy was reported in the 300 block of South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

• 9:04 p.m. Tuesday – A trespasser was reported in the 200 block of West Jefferson Street, Warsaw. WPD.
