• 8:44 p.m. Saturday - Intersection of Elkhart CR 48 and CR 127, Elkhart. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Harry Wells, 39, Syracuse; Howard Lehman, 44, Syracuse. Injuries: Wells did not survive the crash; a passenger in Wells’ car, Donya Tam, 26, Elkhart, was taken by ambulance to Goshen?Hospital for minor cuts and neck pain.  Lehman, was taken by ambulance to Goshen hospital for a complaint of pain; passengers in Lehman’s truck, Marlene Lehman, 45, Syracuse; Ashlyn Lehman, 9, Syracuse; Austin Lehman, 9, Syracuse; and Alisha Lehman, 12, Syracuse; were all taken by ambulance to Goshen Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 2:19 p.m. Friday – A suicide attempt was reported in the 600 block of North Parker Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:21 p.m. Friday – A man reported $300 was stolen at Center Lake Park in the 100 block of East Canal Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 10:09 a.m. Saturday – A man reported his vehicle was vandalized in the 2600 block of Shelden Street, Warsaw. Damage: $2,000. WPD.

• 10:54 a.m. Saturday – A woman reported suspicious activity in the 600 block of South Main Street, North Webster. North Webster Police Department investigated.

• 12:30 p.m. Saturday – A woman reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle in the 2200 block of East Hendricks Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 1:04 p.m. Saturday – An employee of Walmart reported the theft of merchandise from the store. Value: $129.66. WPD.

• 6:29 p.m. Saturday – A man reported $250 was stolen from his vehicle in the 2000 block of East Market Street, Warsaw. WPD.
