Sacred Heart School Principal James L. Faroh (L) is retiring after 10 years at the school and 45 years in education total. A retirement celebration for him was held May 23 with more than 300 people in attendance. The hour-long program featured student council members and staff members telling their favorite memories of Faroh, offering him their best wishes, singing songs and giving prayers. Faroh received a wall hanging of his ties and business cards from the past 45 years; a huge “Principal Mascot Award”; a photo album full of photos and letters from students, former students, staff members and former staff members; and a wall plaque that holds pictures. The new principal will be Mike McClain. Pictured are student council members reading their favorite memories and what they will miss most from each class.
