N. Man. UMC To Host Baked Steak Dinner

NORTH MANCHESTER – North Manchester United Methodist Church will host a baked steak dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9.

Cost for the dinner is $8.50 for adults and $5 for children ages 7 to 12. Carry-out will be available. The public is welcome.

The church is at 306 E. Second St., North Manchester, and is handicapped accessible.



Leesburg UMC To Host Lakeside Service

LEESBURG – Leesburg United Methodist Church will have its lakeside service Sunday at Patona Bay on Tippecanoe Lake at 8:30 a.m. Guest musician this week is Steve Stahly. The church welcomes you to join it on the water or on land. If by chance it may be raining, the service will be held in the boat house on the property.

Warsaw Church To Host Guest Speaker

God’s Highway to Heaven Church, 555 W. Webber St., Warsaw, will host a revival with Garry Ferguson from Kentucky from Sunday to Friday, Aug. 9. On Sunday, he will be speaking at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Aug. 9, he will be speaking at 7 p.m. For more information, call 574-267-3943.



Pierceton UBC To Host Gospel Sing

PIERCETON ­– Free United Baptist Church will host a gospel sing Friday at 6 p.m., which will feature Marvin Morrow. The church is at 7035 S. Ind. 13, Pierceton.



Silver Lake Church To Host Series

On How To Handle Emotions

SILVER LAKE – Pastor Seitz will be teaching a new series titled ‘How to Handle Your Emotions before Your Emotions Mis-handle You!” at Silver Lake Wesleyan Church in August and September.  

Beginning Sunday, during the morning worship at 10:30 a.m., the topics will include: The Stress is Killing Me, Dealing with the Blues (depression), Dealing with Feeling of Inferiority, Dealing with Doubt, Dealing with the Blight of Bitterness, Dealing with my Fears, Caught in the Web of Worry, Dealing with Loneliness and Dealing with Anger.

The church is located at 106 West Walnut Street, Silver Lake.
