Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group

 The support group will not be meeting in July. Our next meeting will be Aug. 28. If you have any questions please contact Linda at  574-527-1720 or Susan at 574-268-8109.



Kosciusko County Retired Teachers

The Kosciusko County Retired Teachers meeting was held July 9 at Millers Senior Living Center, 1634 S County Farm Road, Warsaw. Co-President Jill Beehler called the meeting to order. Norma Plank provided the music.

New guests attending were Kathy Kinch and Jim and Joy Jackson. Ann Chubb introduced Cathy Olson, the Active Teacher Grant winner. Cathy is the fundamental life skills Tteacher at Tippy Valley. She received $500.00 to be used for task boxes – materials for hands on learning and sewing activities.

Megan Farver, the community outreach coordinator from the Kosciusko County Hospital Senior Club, provided the program.

KCRT was recognized by IRTA for their website at the June state meeting.

Door prizes were won by Jim Jackson, Rik Lovelady, Carol Plew and Nancy Adams.

Upcoming gatherings are Sept. 10 and Oct. 8. All retired teachers are welcome. Come check the group out and visit its website at kcrtearchers.org.



Wednesday Night Bridge

The Wednesday Night Bridge group met at Grace Village July 24. Five tables played with the following winners: Virginia Horn, Tom Anderson, tied for third were Joyce Metz and Sharron Tuttle, Dorothy Herring and Nancy Carder. Anyone interested in playing bridge with the group can call Bob Mayer at 574-267-6879 for further information. Acting host Wednesday was Bob Mayer.



Bridge At SPEC In North Webster

Bridge at SPEC played Tuesday. Suze Wilt came in first and Dick Robby came in second. The group also played Thursday. Mary Kay Roby came in first and Richard Blank came in second.



Grace?Thursday Bridge Club

Grace Thursday Bridge Club played Thursday. Winners were:  Lyn Corbett, Nancy Dalton and Bob Mayer.



The Four Seasons Ladies Bridge

The Four Seasons Ladies Bridge met Wednesday at Grace Village. Winners were Judy Stewart, Peg Zimmerman, Sharon Holtz and Barb Calhan. Hostess was Elaine Tripp.
