NET 43 Nabs 2 From Milford

Two Milford men were arrested Monday morning as the result of a NET 43 covert surveillance operation.

According to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, NET 43 officers were watching 229 E. CR 1150N, Milford, and positively identified Gregory E. Leslie Creek at 10:30 a.m.

Creek had an active arrest warrant for allegedly pointing a shotgun at a neighbor June 20. While executing the arrest warrant, officers detained a second subject, identified as Nicholas Garber. Garber was found to be in possession of paraphernalia, synthetic drugs and methamphetamine.

Creek had attempted to conceal 1 ounce of meth, with an approximate street value of $1,000, which was located by NET 43. A stolen 2019 Travel Lite Falcon GT RV, taken from the factory, was recovered on the premises, according to the release.

Creek, 38, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on preliminary charges of pointing a firearm and possession of methamphetamine, with a bond set at $5,250.

Garber, 19, was booked in the jail for theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a synthetic drug, with a bond set at $5,250.

NET 43 was assisted by the Milford Police Department and KCSO.

NET 43 stands for Narcotics Enforcement Team and is a collaborative law enforcement unit consisting of officers from the Warsaw and Winona Lake police departments, Indiana State Police and KCSO.
