• 8:40 a.m. Sunday – Jolene S. West, 44, of 608 N. Walnut St., Etna Green, arrested for theft. Bond: $500.

• 4:16 p.m. Sunday – Karra S. Stevens, 29, of 721 S. CR 450E, Pierceton, arrested on a warrant. Bond: $600.

• 5:17 p.m. Sunday – James A. Evett, 31, of 9675 E. Seneca Lane, #42, Cromwell, arrested for possession of methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement and driving while suspended with a prior suspension. Bond: $11,400.

• 7:21 p.m. Sunday – Hector H. Hinojosa Jr., 48, of 321 S. High St., Warsaw, arrested for public intoxication. Bond: $400.

• 10:45 p.m. Sunday – Allen J. Kalabsa, 42, of 1 EMS B37 Lane 15, Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $1,000.

• 9:16 a.m. Monday – Intersection of Argonne Road and East Market Street, Warsaw. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Mary A. Sutton, 65, West Hobart Court, Warsaw; Robert L. Hepburn, 66, South Cleveland Street, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.

• 2:01 a.m. Sunday – An individual was arrested in the 1800 block of Hepler Drive, Warsaw, for domestic battery and disorderly conduct. WPD.

• 2:24 p.m. Sunday – A suicidal man was reported in the 1000 block of East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:57 p.m. Sunday – A warrant was requested in the 5200 block of East Bayview Drive, Syracuse, for assisting a criminal. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

• 6:03 p.m. Sunday – An individual was arrested in the 5200 block of East Bayview Drive, Syracuse, for resisting law enforcement. SPD.

• 7:50 p.m. – A man was arrested in the 200 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw, for public intoxication after an employee of CVS Pharmacy reported a drunk man was scaring customers. WPD.

Warsaw Battles Back Down 21-0 To Stun NorthWood 35-21
While Warsaw did not get the start that it wanted facing off against Northern Lakes Conference foe NorthWood Friday night, the Tigers certainly got the finish they were looking for. Down 21-0 early in the contest, Warsaw battled back, scoring the last 35 points of the game to pick up a 35-21 win in Nappanee, the school’s first since 2012.
