She was born on Jan. 21, 1934, in Pierceton, Ind., to Lawrence and Irene Lentz Mort.
During her life she worked at Agnew Development Center as a licensed psychiatric technician and unit supervisor for 25 years. She has lived in Kosciusko County since retiring in 1994.
She is survived by her sons, Jon (spouse Colleen) Ewen, of Silver Lake, Ind.; Lawrence (spouse Nancy) Ewen, of Columbia City, Ind.; grandchildren, Blake and Steven Ewen of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Raymond Mort; two daughters, Melody Ann and Abby Ewen; and a son, Joe Ewen.
Services will be private and held at a later date.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, Ind.
