By Staff Report-

The gallery at rua announced its latest exhibit of 2019 featuring the art designs of Michigan artist Steve Sult.

The new exhibition is titled “Sitting on the Fence of Type & Image,” and will be open in the Brennan Room of Warsaw’s downtown restaurant Rua from Tuesday through Sept. 18 with a public artist reception from 6 to 8 p.m. July 26.

Sult is an illustrating designer, who has enjoyed a career of more than 30 years in advertising agency creative management. In 2003, he opened his doors as Sult Mine Creative Group and has built a practice designing corporate communication and advertising that specializes in start-up and emerging family owned manufacturing and mental health businesses, according to a news release from Rua.

In 2016, he scaled down the advertising side of his practice to concentrate on visual art, illustration design and brand development for events and private commissions.

Sult's work combines elements of WPA's poster campaigns in the 1930s, pop art and decorative art all being applied to poster art.

Sult’s exhibit at the gallery at rua will feature art posters and prints that showcase his graphic style. All works will be for sale.

Rua is at 108 E. Market St., Warsaw.

Sult will be present at the reception from 6 to 8 p.m. July 26. Appetizers will be provided, and a cash bar will be available.

The gallery at rua is open to the public during regular Rua hours:
