She retired in 1992 as a nurse at St. Clair Hospital in Pennsylvania. She attended Pleasant View Bible Church, Warsaw. She served along with her husband as a short-term missionary in Kinshasa Zaire with Mission Aviation Fellowship.
She is survived by children: Jeanne Commer, of Wichita, Kan.; Joe Salomon, of Jenks, Okla.; Linda Ropp, of St. Cloud, Fla.; Jon Salomon, of Stewartstown, Pa.; Karen Hueni, of Bremen, Ind.; and Julie Thompson, of Warsaw, Ind.; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Salomon, on Feb. 23, 2012.
Interment services will be held in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Ind., on Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m.
