• 3:27 p.m. Friday – James D. Cable, 47, Bunker Hill, arrested for vehicle theft, leaving the scene of a crash causing property damage, operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $5,250.

• 5:50 p.m. Friday – A traffic stop in the 3900 block of West U.S. 30, Warsaw, resulted in the arrest of a man for driving while suspended with a prior suspension and on an out-of-state warrant. KCSO.

• 3:45 a.m. Saturday – A man was arrested in the 2200 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw, for possession of marijuana. WPD.

• 5:43 a.m. Saturday – An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Little League Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:48 a.m. Saturday – An abandoned vehicle was reported sitting on the railroad tracks in the 5900 block of North Old Ind. 15, Leesburg, causing damage to the Norfolk Southern rails. Damage: $1,000. KCSO.

Warsaw Battles Back Down 21-0 To Stun NorthWood 35-21
While Warsaw did not get the start that it wanted facing off against Northern Lakes Conference foe NorthWood Friday night, the Tigers certainly got the finish they were looking for. Down 21-0 early in the contest, Warsaw battled back, scoring the last 35 points of the game to pick up a 35-21 win in Nappanee, the school’s first since 2012.
