Warsaw Church To Hold Ice Cream Social

On Sunday at 11 a.m., Warsaw Trinity United Methodist Church will host an old-fashioned ice cream social. It will be held on the grounds, weather permitting, and inside if weather does not permit.

The church is at 832 E. Center St., Warsaw. Everyone is invited to join the church.

The entire event, including pie and ice cream, is free. The church asks nothing other than you join them, meet some neighbors and make new friends. Call the church office for more info at 574-267-8546.



Celebration UMC To Host Seven-Part Series

WINONA LAKE – Celebration United Methodist Church will host the beginning of a seven-part series titled "How To Grow Your Faith.”

Service begins at 10 a.m. and free refreshments and drinks will be provided.

The church address is 1287 S CR 250E, Winona Lake, and is just past Lakeland Christian Academy going south on CR 250S.



Leesburg Church To Hold Lakeside Service

LEESBURG – Leesburg United Methodist Church will have its lakeside service Sunday at Patona Bay on Tippecanoe Lake at 8:30 a.m.

Guest musicians this week are The Chain Gang. The Chain Gang members consist of Mike Lewis (baritone), Jerry Frush (tenor), Jim Geller (bass) and Phil Randel (lead). One of their most notable achievements is they have been featured twice in Warsaw's professional theater, The Wagon Wheel. The foursome enjoys singing at many community events and summer "boat-in" serves. The church welcome you to join it on the water or on land. If by chance it may be raining, services will be held in the boat house on the property.

UMC Community Dinner    Aug. 9            

NORTH MANCHESTER – The United Methodist Church will host a community dinner on Aug. 9 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the North Manchester United Methodist Church, 306 E. Second St.  

Menu includes baked steak, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, roll, dessert and drink.  Ticket cost for adults is $8.50 and children (7-12) is $5, children under 6 are free.  Carry outs available at 4:30 p.m.  The public is welcome.  

North Manchester United Methodist Church is handicapped-accessible, with parking in the rear of the church and the East Second Street parking lot.



Bethel Baptist Church To Host Bible School

PIERCETON – Bethel Baptist Church presents Giddy Up Junction. Taking God's love to new frontiers.  Vacation bible school for kids ages 4 years to 12th grade, Sunday through Thursday will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m.  This western-themed vacation bible school will have stories, music, games, puppets, crafts, snacks and tons of fun. Claypool Church To Host Bible School

CLAYPOOL – Come and join First Free Will Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, Claypool.

Rolling River Rampage Vacation Bible School will be Monday through Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.  The ages are 4 to 12 years old.

CLAYPOOL – Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, Claypool, will host a gospel concert with Ernie Dawson/Heirline and the Dotson at 2 p.m. July 20.

Freewill offering will be received.

Leesburg – Country Bible Church will host vacation Bible school from 9 to 11:30 a.m. July 22 to  July 26. It will be Country Bible Church, 4782 N. CR 850E, Leesburg.

The bible school is for kids ages 4 through entering sixth grade. Join the church all week for Bible lessons, crafts, music, skits, games and snacks.
