Dawn and Doug McCray Calvelage will celebrate 30 years of marriage on Saturday.

They were married July 13, 1989, in Sevierville, Tenn., with the Rev. Lloyd Loveday officiating.

Doug is a supplier quality manager at Zimmer Biomet. Dawn is a funeral director with Owen Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Services of Kosciusko County. She is also a support professional with Partners in Opportunities, South Bend.   

The couple have four children,  Courtney (Kory) Mann of Yulee, Fla.; Christopher (Melody) Ybarra of Converse;  Brooke Ebel of Van Wert, Ohio; and Adam Calvelage of Warsaw, along with nine grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate with a trip to London in 2020.

Kathleen N. Anderson-Takacs, 84, of Pierceton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. Kathy was born on Aug. 14, 1940, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Darwin and Jane Gibson. On April 17, 2004, she married Bill Takacs in Gatlinburg, Tenn., who survives.
