Sharon R. Witzky Koser Matthes, 74, of Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, died at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.

She was born September 8, 1944, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Leila Mae Seymour Witzky and Harold Eugene Witzky. On May 15, 1965, she married to Eugene “Gene” Richard Koser. They were married for 43 years before he passed away on October 5, 2009. Sharon remarried on July 6, 2013, to Quentin Matthes, who survives.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake.   Scattering of Sharon’s ashes will take place at a later date at Beulah Beach.  

Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
