• 4:50 p.m. Thursday - Maria Rosario Tochimani De Hilario, 34, of 1687 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, arrested for operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license. Bond: $500.

• 1:39 a.m. Friday - Matthew Thomas Gelder, 20, East Amhert, N.Y., arrested for a minor in possession of alcohol. Bond: $400.

• 1:40 a.m. Friday - Andrew Jerome Gauger, 20, of 1726 S. Woodfield Trail, Warsaw, arrested for a minor in possession of alcohol. Bond $400.

• 2:21 a.m. Friday - Matthew Nicholas Gontko, 20, Bloomington, arrested for minor in possession of alcohol. Bond: $400.

• 6:55 a.m. Friday - Joshua Bryan Puckett, 35, of 8556 S. Yellow View Lane, Claypool, arrested for criminal mischief, domestic battery, resting law enforcement, confinement and battery. No bond set.

• 9:29 a.m. Friday - Danny Jean England, 28, of 170 E. Second St., Peru, arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle. No bond set.

• 11:22 a.m. Friday - Joe Angel Rodriguez, 29, Sidney, arrested on two counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Bond: $809.49.

• 12:14 p.m. Friday - Hector Hinojosa Jr., 48, of 321 S. High St., Warsaw, arrested on two counts of failure to appear. No bond set.

• 12:12 p.m. Friday - Tierra Djae Smith, 25, New Haven, arrested for failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Bond: $5,000.

• 12:32 p.m. Friday - Lindsey Denise Fremault, 27, Fort Wayne, arrested on a probation violation of a misdemeanor and failure to appear on a felony. No bond set.

• 10:39 a.m. Wednesday - 1508 Ranch Road, Warsaw. Car-pedestrian collision. Driver: Mikel M. Phebus, 70, Ranch Road, Warsaw. Injuries: Pedestrian Sherri D. Young, 47, Ranch Road, Warsaw, suffered some scrapes to her arms, legs and face. Young was transported from the scene by ambulance. Damage: Under $750. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 11:12 p.m. Wednesday - Intersection of Anchorage Road and U.S. 30, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Leonardo D. Medina Quiroga, 20, West Old Road 30, Warsaw; Janet L. Dome, 44, East CR 850S, Claypool. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 9:04 a.m. Wednesday - Possible found counterfeit money was reported in the 300 block of South Columbia Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:32 p.m. Wednesday - Fraud that occurred by telephone, allowing an unknown suspect to remotely control the victim’s computer and allowing access to banking accounts was reported in the 10800 block of South CR 450E, Claypool. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 3:57 a.m. Thursday - A person refusing to submit to a chemical test was reported in the 900 block of U.S. 30, Warsaw. WPD.

• 2:50 a.m. Thursday - A theft of a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of EMS B51 Lane, Warsaw. KCSO.

• 11:25 a.m. Thursday - A person driving while suspended was reported in the 300 block of South Lake Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 1:03 p.m. Thursday - A person driving while suspended with a prior suspension was reported in the 600 block of Hepler Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

Warsaw Battles Back Down 21-0 To Stun NorthWood 35-21
While Warsaw did not get the start that it wanted facing off against Northern Lakes Conference foe NorthWood Friday night, the Tigers certainly got the finish they were looking for. Down 21-0 early in the contest, Warsaw battled back, scoring the last 35 points of the game to pick up a 35-21 win in Nappanee, the school’s first since 2012.
