The Four Seasons Ladies Bridge

The Four Seasons Ladies Bridge met Wendesday at Grace Village. The winners were Liz Frazzetta, Nanette Newland, Karyl Smith and Sharon Tuttle. The hostess was Elaine Tipp.



Wednesday Night Bridge

Wednesday Night Bridge played Wednesday. They had five tables with the following winners:  David Haines, Jan Chiddister, Grant Magner, John Wagley, Babs Haines and Joyce Latta.  For July, Janet and John Wagley are hostess and host.  The next meeting is on Wednesday.

The group would like to share our bridge night with interested bridge players. If interested, call Janet Wagley 574-268-1330.



Kosciusko County Retired Teachers

Kosciusko County Retired Teachers meeting is Tuesday July 9. Please join the group for the social gathering at 11:30 a.m. and lunch at noon at Millers Senior Living Center, 1634 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw. Lunch is $5 and local yearly membership is $10. Kosciusko County Hospital’s Senior Club is providing the program. To RSVP, e-mail  [email protected].

Upcoming gatherings are September 10 and October 8. All retired teachers are welcome. Come check the group out and visit its website at kcrtearchers.org.



Bridge At SPEC In North Webster

Bridge at SPEC in North Webster was played Tuesday. Wanda Wyrick came in first and Mike Wyrick came in second. The group did not play Thursday.

Editor, Times-Union: I’ve heard folks say I have prime farmland. What I haven’t heard mentioned are the eleven towers scattered across it - eleven towers that you have to till, plant, and harvest around. Heaven forbid you hit one. Planes that spray my fields can’t hit the full area because of these obstacles. I’ve got four irrigation units running to irrigate the best I can, where normally two would suffice.
