Baked Steak Dinner Feb. 8 In North Manchester

NORTH MANCHESTER – North Manchester United Methodist Church is planning a baked steak dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 8.

Cost for the dinner is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 7-12. Carry-out will be available.

The church is at 306 E. Second St., North Manchester.



Revival Feb. 6-9 At Highway To Heaven

Revivial meetings with Pete and Barb Ashby from Kentucky are planned Feb. 6-9 at God’s Highway to Heaven Church.

The meetings with the Ashbys will include preaching and singing. Services will begin at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

The church is at 555 W. Webber St., Warsaw. For more information, call 574-267-3943.



Annual Whole Hog Sausage Sale Underway

PIERCETON – Pierceton United Methodist church is having its annual whole hog sausage sale through March 3.

The salt and pepper whole hog sausage is sold bulk or stuffed in 2-pound and 5-pound packages for $3.50 a pound. A 5-pound box of patties is $17.50.

Orders may be be picked up and paid for from noon to 5 p.m. March 15 at the Methodist church in Pierceton.  

The church is planning a pancake and sausage supper on March 16. Details will be announced soon.



FASCAR Rally Saturday At Community Bible

Community Bible Church and Word of Life is having a FASCAR rally from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

The event will feature Matchbox and Hot Wheels car races, food and a salvation message. Everyone is welcome.

RSVP By Sunday For Valentine Dinner/Dance

SILVER LAKE – The annual valentine dinner/dance at South Pleasant United Methodist Church is planned for Feb. 9.

Everyone is invited to an evening of food, fellowship and fun. Social time will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner starting at 6 p.m.  

The meal will include baked chicken breast, salad, cheesy potatoes, green beans, Vi’s homemade pie and drinks.

Cost for the evening is $10 per person or $18 per couple. RSVPs are needed by Sunday; call Russ Reahard at 260-982-4399.

The evening will take place in the church’s Christian Education Center. The church is on Ind. 15, 3 miles south of Silver Lake.



‘Holy Cow’ For Kids Wednesdays At 1st UMC

“Holy Cow,” a time for kids to connect through fun, new friends and faith, has begun at the Connection Campus of First United Methodist Church in Warsaw.

The program is for babies through children in fifth grade. It is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through March 20.

Each evening will include dinner, music, activities for pre-kindergarten and elementary-age children, and child care for babies and toddlers.
