The Senior Activities Center is at 800 N. Park Ave., Warsaw.

KCSS memberships for 2018 have expired. Please stop in and get your 2019 membership for $10.

The Goals group is hard at work on bettering themselves.  Each person is working on their own personal goals each week through the end of March. Weekly progress is recorded and rewards have been chosen to celebrate reaching the goal. Call Kathy if you would like to join this accountability group.

Three seminars are scheduled in February (see dates below). Each session will have a question-and-answer time.  Sign-up sheets are on the table in the SAC, or call KCSS to pre-register.

Lunch with Real Services is available to those who call by 11 a.m. the day before.

Seniors who need a ride may call Bill at 574-267-2012.

Mondays

Free bread is available first come, first served.

Hobby ?Projects, 10:30 a.m. (formerly Yarn Day). Bring any project you are working on – cross-stitch, needlepoint, paint-by-numbers, carving, or an embroidery – and with with others while you work.

Tuesdays

Mixed euchre, 12:30 p.m.

Wednesdays

Left, Right, Center, 12:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and 26.

Thursdays

Chair volleyball, 10:30 a.m.

Bingo, 12:30 p.m.

Fridays

Movie day, 10:30 a.m. Movie suggestions are welcome.

Feb. 1 – Movie, “Nanny McPhee,” 10:30 a.m.

Feb. 5 – Seminar: Heart-to-Heart will present Advanced Health Care Planning with Kelly Roggow, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; Birthday Bash,  noon. Lunch provided by Miller’s Merry Manor with cake and ice cream provided by Warsaw Meadows. Bingo with prizes will be at 1 p.m.

Feb. 8 – Movie, “Nanny McPhee Returns,” 10:30 a.m.

Feb. 12 – Seminar: Combined Community  Services with John Parker will present programs and help available for seniors, including clothing, food, utilities, etc., 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.  

Feb. 13 – Craft Day:  The group will be making small rugs with large crochet hooks.

Feb. 14 – Valentine’s Day Fun: Wear your favorite ’50s outfit and come “rock around the clock.”

Feb. 15 – Movie, “Cinderella,” 10:30 a.m.

Feb. 19 – Seminar: Indiana Legal Services will present Questions Seniors Ask with Adam Taylor, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Feb. 20 – Fun Day. Mason Rehab will bring the meal; bring a side dish to share if you wish.

Feb. 22 – Movie, “Angel and the Bad Man,” 10:30 a.m.

Feb. 26 – Hot breakfast, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., brought by Paddock Springs; out-of-town trip is to Ponderosa in Plymouth (weather permitting). Cost is $8 for soft drink, salad, hot entrée, soup and desserts, plus $4 to ride the bus. Sign-up sheet is on the table in the SAC.

Intersection Of CRs N. 100E & E. 200N Reclosed
NIPSCO has reclosed the intersection of County Road North 100 East (Husky Trail) and County Road East 200 North, following a brief holiday break where the road was temporarily opened, according to the city of Warsaw.
