Walnut Creek Church welcomes Indiana Wesleyan University’s HIS Instrument to its 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. services on Sunday.
The mission of the mixed vocal ensemble is to exalt Christ through a balance of contemporary Christian and traditional gospel music. The group includes Warsaw graduates Kendra Housel and Anne Rego.
The church is at 2033 S. CR 150W, Warsaw. approximately 1 mile south of Warsaw Community High School on Ind. 15.
First UMC Annual Soup Cook-Off Is Sunday
Warsaw First United Methodist Church will have its annual soup cook-off after a combined worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Participants may vote for "Tasters' Choice"; the winner will receive a Whetstone Woodenware soup ladle.
A bake sale is planned for dessert,
Free-will offerings for the cook-off and the bake sale will go toward Creative Women of the World, the church's mission partner.

Bishop From Africa At New Beginnings This Weekend
New Beginnings Church and World Outreach will have special services this weekend with Bishop David Mukasa from East Africa.
The service Saturday will start at 7 p.m., with services Sunday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The church is at 741 E Winona Ave., Warsaw. For more information call Pastor Ronnie Patrick at 574-527-3006.
Valentine Dinner/Dance Feb. 9 At South Pleasant
SILVER LAKE – The annual valentine dinner/dance at South Pleasant United Methodist Church is planned for Feb. 9.
Everyone is invited to an evening of food, fellowship and fun. Social time will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner starting at 6 p.m. The meal will include baked chicken breast, salad, cheesy potatoes, green beans, Vi’s homemade pie and drinks.
Cost for the evening is $10 per person or $18 per couple. RSVPs are needed by Feb. 3; call Russ Reahard at 260-982-4399.
The event will take place in the church’s Christian Education Center. The church is on Ind. 15, 3 miles south of Silver Lake.
‘Holy Cow’ For Kids Coming To First UMC
“Holy Cow,” a time for kids to connect through fun, new friends and faith, will begin Wednesday at the Connection Campus of First United Methodist Church in Warsaw.
The program will be for babies through children in fifth grade. It will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through March 20.
Each evening will include dinner, music, activities for pre-kindergarten and elementary-age children, and child care for babies and toddlers.
The Connection Campus is at 1692 W. Lake St., Warsaw. For more information, call or text Mandy Bailey at 574-527-8776, or email [email protected].
Those interested in volunteering or providing food may also contact Bailey.
Cami Shrock Concert Sunday At Gospel Hill
SILVER LAKE – Cami Shrock will be at Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God on Sunday.
The concert will begin at 6 p.m.
The church is at 303 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake.
