‘Party Shop’ Closing, Owners To Retire

By Staff Report-

Because co-owners Dorothy Snyder, David Hamrick and Dana Vlot are retiring, The Party Shop, 3418 Lake City Highway, Warsaw, will be closing soon.

“Established in 1978, The Party Shop has been serving the community for over 40 years. We take pride in offering the finest selection of Hallmark cards and gifts in the area,” said Hamrick, Snyder’s son,  in a press release. Vlot is Snyder’s daughter.

“Over the years you have generously allowed us to serve your card and gift needs. We have sincerely enjoyed working with each and every one of you and we are grateful for the many wonderful friendships that have evolved.

“We now realize it is time; time to retire and focus on the next chapter in our lives. ...

“Although this decision has been difficult, Dorothy and family would like to express their sincere gratitude for allowing them to serve Kosciusko County for over 40 years.”

An inventory reduction sale is underway, and all merchandise and fixtures are to be sold. A final closing date has not yet been set.
