William and Helga Curts of Chapman Lake, Warsaw, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

William Curts and the former Helga Rott were married Jan. 11, 1969, at the Navy chapel on Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland.

Bill retired after 20 years with the Air Force and 23 years with the Internal Revenue Service. Helga is a retired registered nurse and enjoys volunteering at Kos-ciusko Community Hospital.

They have two children, Jennifer (Brian) Weith of Wauconda, Ill., and Andrew (Sohee) Curts, Misawa Air Force Base, Japan. They have two grandchildren, Anna Weith and Lilly Curts.

A celebration is planned with family and friends.
