On Dec. 15, Warsaw Police officer Jacob Metzger met with a 16-year-old girl who said she had been raped by Hurley at his residence on Feb. 14, when she was still 15 and he was 17.

The victim said she and Hurley were friends. He had picked her up and they had to wait for another friend, and he drove to his house to “kill some time,” according to court documents.

They went into his bedroom and were sitting on the bed when Hurley began touching her. She said she told him “no” and shoved his arms away. Hurley unbuttoned and removed her jeans while she was telling him to stop. He had sexual intercourse with her despite her telling him to stop at least six times.

WPD Det. Paul Heaton spoke with Hurley who admitted he had sexual intercourse with the victim after she said no. According to court documents, Hurley admitted he did not take no for an answer and continued to have sexual intercourse with her after she said no. He told police he was a sex addict.

A no contact order was entered on Friday.
