Warsaw Friends Of The Library

Ann Zydek, director of Warsaw Community Public Library, and Robin Fosnaugh, administrative assistant and WCPL liaison to Friends of the Library, gathered with 17 members Monday for the Friends of the Library annual meeting.

The hospitality committee distributed valentine treat bags and will offer hot chocolate at the March 4 meeting.

New bylaws were approved, and a new board of directors and board officers were elected by membership: Merri Bottorff, president; Clete Leverett, vice president; Bree Robinson, secretary; Richard Latta, treasurer; and Carol Noll, member at large. Norma Stiegel joins Linda Campbell on the board, which met following the regular meeting.

Members elected Chad Miner, Trevor Ross, Lee Morton and Jill Beehler to the Advisory Council. Standing rules were adopted.

The Fundraising Task Force is preparing for the Love-a-Book Cafe and book sale scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Valentine's Day.



Wednesday Night Bridge

The Wednesday Night Bridge group had four tables this week, with the following winners: Sharon Tuttle, Kathy Clary, Joyce Latta, Carol Freeman and John Stewart.  

Janet and John Wagley were hostess and host.

Interested bridge players are welcome to the Wednesday meetings. Call Janet Wagley at 574-268-1330 for more information.



Kosciusko Kettleheads Homebrew Club

The Kosciusko Kettleheads Homebrew Club will meet at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mad Anthony's Lake City Taphouse.

Those interested in the fine art of fermentation are invited to attend, and all current, former or potential brewers are welcome. For further information call 574-265-4837, visit www.kettleheads.org, or email [email protected].

The Kettleheads meet the second Sunday of every month. The March 10 meeting will be at Hoplore Brewing in Leesburg.



Grace Thursday Bridge

Grace Thursday Bridge met this week wth Ann Thallemer as hostess.

Winners were Carol Freeman, Sharon Tuttle and Elaine Tripp.
