WINAMAC – Triton had four players in double figures in its 57-30 rout of host Winamac in a non-conference boys basketball game Friday night.

Ashton Oviedo led the visiting Trojans with 15 points. Tyler Yates had 11 points, with jared Bules and Tyler Heckaman adding 10 points each to the Triton attack. Quentin Amsden had seven points, with Cameron Shively and Keegan Westafer rounding out the scoring with two points each.

The Trojans led 15-6 after the first quarter, then outscored Winamac 31-14 over the middle periods to take control of the contest.

Winamac took a narrow 39-36 win in the junior varsity game. Cole McKinney, Lucas Cabrera and Nate Amsden scored seven points each for Triton, with Connor Large scoring six points and Bruce Johnson five points.

Triton (4-3) won’t play again until Jan. 10, when it travels to Walkerton for  a non-conference tilt with John Glenn.
