NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF BUDGET REDUCTIONS

    Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Kosciusko County, Indiana, that the County Council of said County will meet at the Kosciusko County Courthouse, 100 W Center Street, 3rd Floor Courtroom, Warsaw, Indiana at 7:00 PM on January 9, 2020 to consider the following budget reductions to the budget for the current year:

County General                                                                                                  1000-11092-000-0009    Animal Control Officer    $52,107

Highway                                                                                                 

    1176-11601-000-0050    Social Security Contributions    $135,000

    1176-11602-000-0050    Retirement Contributions    $207,000

    1176-11604-000-0050    Workmen’s Compensation    $142,800

    1176-11605-000-0050    Group Insurance    $472,200

    1176-22003-000-0050    Gas-Motor Oil    $108,000

    1176-22036-000-0050    Garage & Other Motor Supplies     $325,000

    1176-34001-000-0050    Property Liability Insurance    $150,000

    1176-34009-000-0050    Utilities                                                        $60,000

    Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard.  The additional appropriation when finally approved will be referred to the Local Government Board of Finance.  The Board will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the action taken.
