AKRON – Eckrich®, the makers of smoked sausage and deli meats, collaborated with Martin’s to present Tippecanoe Valley High School with a $4,150 donation this week.

Eckrich committed to donating a portion of eligible product sold at the Martin’s on Husky Trail, between Oct. 20 to Nov. 16, to Tippecanoe Valley High School. The donation will be used by the school to enhance the learning of each student, according to a news release from Eckrich.

“Giving back to the community is part of Eckrich’s heritage, and we are excited for the opportunity to continue this tradition with this donation.” said Elizabeth Di John, director of marketing for Smithfield Foods. “We’re proud to support the schools and teachers by encouraging their positive impact on the community.”

“Martin’s is fortunate to have fantastic community-focused partners who support our efforts to give back,” said a representative of Martin’s Supermarket in the release. “We’re delighted to serve the residents of the Valley community and is proud to be a part of this donation to support our local schools and their students.”

Eckrich presented the donation at the Tippecanoe Valley High School basketball game.
