Wildcats Fall In TRC Game

PERU – Whitko head a 7-0 lead after the first quarter, but Peru scored five unanswered touchdowns on its way to a 35-13 win over the Wildcats in Three Rivers Conference football Friday night.

Cade Berg opened the scoring with a 23-yard touchdown run, and Ashton Schuh caught a 7-yard TD pass from Ethan Schuh with about 3-1/2 minutes to play.

The Wildcats (0-2, 0-1 TRC) open their home schedule Friday night, hosting Rochester.



Warriors Fall To West Noble

LIGONIER – Austin Baker scored a 62-yard catch-and-run touchdown pass from Parker Young in the first quarter, but that was all the scoring Wawasee would muster in a 21-6 non-conference loss at West Noble.

Wawasee (1-1) opens Northern Lakes Conference play Friday with a trip to Middlebury to take on Northridge.



Lancers Roll Past Trojans

LAKEVILLE – 2A No. 10 LaVille took an early lead and never looked back in a 59-14 win over visiting Triton in Hoosier North Athletic Conference football Friday night.

Statistics for the game were not available as of press time.

Triton (1-1, 0-1 HNAC) hosts Caston Friday.
