Neuropathy Support Group

The Lake City Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the administration classroom at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

This month the group will be having  an open discussion on “Coping with the Pain of Neuropathy.”

Anyone who has neuropathy, has a family member with it or is a care giver is welcome to attend.

 The group meets the last Wednesday of every month. If you have any questions, contact Linda Scalet at 574-527-1720 or Sue Karczewski at 574-268-8109.



Four Seasons Ladies Bridge

Four Seasons Ladies Bridge met Wednesday at Grace Village. Winners were Liz Frazzetta, Betty Walston, Dian Cartwright and Joan Earhart. Hostess was Barb Calhan.



Frances Slocum Chapter DAR to Meet

Wabash County Frances Slocum Chapter, INDAR will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Grandstaff Hentgen Activity Room, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.

The program will be on the Constitution and the celebration of Constitution Week Sept. 17 to 23.  Speaker will be Dr. Leonard Williams, professor of political science,   Manchester University.  Prospective members and guests are always welcome to attend.

DAR membership is open to any woman 18 years of age, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution.  Those having questions about their family history lineage information may contact www.dar.org or Linda Thompson at 260-563-4661 or Barbara Amiss at 260-982-4376.



Bridge At SPEC In North Webster

Bridge at SPEC was played Tuesday. Jerry Hetrick came in first, and Wanda Wyrick came in second. The group also played Thursday. Wanda Wyrick came in first, and Mike Wyrick came in second. It was a close game for all involved.



Grace Thursday Bridge

Grace Thursday Bridge met Thrsday with Elaine Tripp as hostess. Winners were Betty Walstone, Marily Voelz and Carol Freeman.

What I haven’t heard mentioned are the eleven towers scattered across it - eleven towers that you have to till, plant, and harvest around. Heaven forbid you hit one.
