WINONA LAKE – Christ's Covenant Church, located at 2090 E. Pierceton Road, Winona Lake, is hosting a one-day event on Sept. 21 called the Gospel Shaped Family Conference in order to provide you with biblical wisdom and practical guidance as you seek to live out your faith within your family. Teachers and ministry leaders from all over the country are coming to speak at the event, as well as a few local pastors, such as Larry McCall, Kip Cone and Marc Goodwin, each of whom will provide attendees with spiritual encouragement and practical help in their parenting, grandparenting and marriages.
The conference will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3:45 p.m., and will be hosted at CCC's facility in Winona Lake. In order to look up details about the event – schedule, speakers, sessions, etc. – and to register for the conference, you can go to www.gospelshapedfamily.com. The early-bird registration fee is $15 until Sept. 7, which includes a boxed lunch served on-site the day of the event.

Warsaw Church To Host Revival
Trinity Pentecostal Lighthouse will host the Rev. Pete Ashby from Cumberland, Ky., starting Monday to Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. and Sep. 1 at 10 a.m. with dinner to follow. The church is located at 125 W. Fawley St., Warsaw. Call 574-267-7821 with any questions.
N. Web. Church To Have Swiss Steak Supper
NORTH WEBSTER – North Webster Church of the Brethren, North Webster, will host a swiss steak supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Adults are $10, children 12 and under are $5 and children under 5 are free. Swiss steak, gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, cole slaw, rolls, pie, cake and desserts are to be served.
Leesburg Church To Have Lakeside Service
LEESBURG – Leesburg United Methodist Church will have its lakeside service Sunday at Patona Bay on Tippecanoe Lake at 8:30 a.m.
Guest musician this week is Holly Kopkey. The church welcomes you to join it on the water or on land. If by chance it may be raining, the service will be held in the boathouse on the property.

Etna Green Church To Kick Off Club
ETNA GREEN – Harrison Center Church, located at 965 S. CR 800W, Etna Green, will be starting a word of life club Wednesday. It is for ages from 4 years old to sixth grade. It will run until May 13. For information, call Chris Ellinger at 574-858-2183. The Word of Life Club at Harrison Center Church, Etna Green, will be hosting a Kickoff Club Carnival from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. It is for ages four to sixth grade. Quiet Time books will be handed out. There will also be time to meet the coaches and see what’s planned for the year in the Word of Life Club. Claypool UMC To Hold Beef, Noodle Dinner
CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church, located at 302 E. Section St., Claypool, will serve a beef and noodle dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6. Carry-out is available. Adults are $8, youth 7 to 12 are $4 and children 6 and under are free. Bring a canned food item and receive 50 cents off your meal. All proceeds go to the church and its mission projects.

WINONA LAKE – Celebration United Methodist Church food pantry will be closed on Wednesdays starting Sept. 1. It will continue to be open on Fridays.
Pastor Dave will be cooking breakfast at 8:30 a.m. at the church on the first Sunday of the month. Service begins at 10 a.m.
