James and Shelley Helton celebrated their 25th anniversary on Tuesday.

They were married Aug. 20, 1994, at Warsaw First Brethren Church with Pastor Mitch Funkhouser officiating.

James is employed by DePuy, and Shelley works at First Brethren Church.

They have two children, Joselyn and Matthew.

The family celebrated their anniversary with a trip to Grand Cayman.

Friends and family are invited to an open house on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Robin Hood Community Center, 1436 Camelot Drive, Winona Lake.

Kathleen N. Anderson-Takacs, 84, of Pierceton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. Kathy was born on Aug. 14, 1940, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Darwin and Jane Gibson. On April 17, 2004, she married Bill Takacs in Gatlinburg, Tenn., who survives.
