John and Helen were married on Aug. 22, 1969, at the bride’s home, near Atwood.
John and Helen have both worked for Tippecanoe Valley School System for many years.
The couple were blessed with four children, Jeremy, Kim, Ryan and Kevin. They also have five grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate their anniversary with a family dinner.
