Warsaw Church Announces New Minister

First Christian Church of Warsaw announces the hiring of Matthew Rogers as lead minister.

Rogers came to FCC from Christian Church of Clarendon Hills in Illinois, where he served as senior minister for the past 22 years. Rogers obtained his undergraduate degree in preaching and Christian ministry from Lincoln Christian University. He later completed his masters in theology from Wheaton College. He has completed extensive training through the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College and has served as a cohort leader in programs there.

Rogers serves with his wife, Kim; and children, Faith and Jordan. He enjoys sports, camping, fishing and reading.

Rogers stated, “The priorities of my ministry are to create environments for people to become quickly connected to opportunities for community and growth, so they can mature into a fully surrendered follower of Jesus and then be sent on missions for Jesus where they live, work, and play.”

Rogers begins his ministry at FCC on Aug. 11 as he brings the morning message. Services at FCC begin at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. FCC is located at 115 Park Ridge Drive, Warsaw, directly across from Miller’s Senior Living Community and can be identified by it’s blue roof. All are invited to join the church as it begins this new phase of ministry to the community.

There is a time of sharing in a devotional, too. If you haven’t come before, you really should come out. See if it doesn’t help you in your spiritual life.

So bring yourself, your sons, your grandsons or your dads and granddads. Bring a friend. All are welcome to come and join in fellowship with the Lord.
