Kevin Bronson Booked Into St. Joe County Jail

Bronson was wanted by the Indiana Department of Corrections after he failed to report for a June 5 parole obligation, according to Margaux Auxier with IDOC. A wanted poster was distributed by IDOC and shared with local media Wednesday by Warsaw Police Department.
Bronson was convicted Sept. 29, 2017, in Kosciusko County for corrupt business influence, a class C felony. He was one of three persons indicted by a Kosciusko County grand jury in late 2015 with charges brought against him, C. Aaron Rovenstine and Dr. Mark Soto.
Through a plea agreement accepted by special Judge Stephen Bowers, Bronson was sentenced to Elkhart County Community Corrections.
On Nov. 13, 2017, ECCC filed a violation notice that Bronson had threatened staff and violated rules, particularly falsifying a time sheet. Bowers then sentenced Bronson on Nov. 20, 2017, to IDOC to serve his seven-year sentence.
Department of Corrections officials said Thursday that Bronson was transferred from the Elkhart County Jail on Nov. 30, 2017, into their custody. Bronson had been incarcerated at the New Castle Correctional Facility since that date and was released to Elkhart County parole on April 3, 2019.
The terms of his parole were not made available by IDOC officials on Thursday.
Bronson was booked into the St. Joseph County Jail at 2:36 p.m. Thursday with no bond set because of his parole hold.
Details regarding his arrest were not released.
