INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana High School Acticities Association announced pairings for the 35th annual state softball tournament, which begins with sectional play May 20.

In Class 4A, Warsaw will host the sectional and take on Elkhart Central in the opening game of the six-team Sectional 4. In the second game, Goshen will take on Concord.

The winners of those two games will face off in one semifinal, with Northridge and Elkhart Memorial squaring off in the other.

In Class 3A Sectional 21, hosted by Lakeland High School in LaGrange, Tippecanoe Valley and West Noble will play one another in the opening game.

The winner of that game will play Fairfield in one semifinal, while the host Lakers will take on Wawasee in the other.

Manchester and Whitko will face off in the second game of the six-team Class 2A Oak Hill Sectional in Converse. The winner will face the victor of the Lewis Cass/Rochester contest that opens the sectional.

Wabash and Oak Hill will play one another in the second semifinal.

Triton hosts Class 1A Sectional 51, and got a bye into the semifinals, where it will face South Central (Union Mills).

West Central and LaCrosse will open the tournament, followed by Culver Community and Argos in game two.  The winners of the first two games will play one another in the semifinals.

Exact dates and times for games will be finalized this week.
